Global Warming Hoax

One of the greatest myths propagated by the fear mongers is that the global warming debate is over and that all the climate scientists are now on board. This couldn't be further from the truth. This week 100 prominent scientists sent an open letter to the Secretary-General of the United Nations asking that the UN stop blaming man for what is a natural climate cycle and to “focus on helping our most vulnerable citizens adapt to conditions that lie ahead”.
About 17,000 scientists signed a petition expressing their doubts about anthropogenic (man-made) global warming (btw: this running petition now has over 19,000 signatures).
This per John Herron at www.globalwarminghoax.com/news.php?extend.44
  • “It is not possible to stop climate change, a natural phenomenon that has affected humanity through the ages. Geological, archaeological, oral and written histories all attest to the dramatic challenges posed to past societies from unanticipated changes in temperature, precipitation, winds and other climatic variables. We therefore need to equip nations to become resilient to the full range of these natural phenomena by promoting economic growth and wealth generation."
  • "It is not established that it is possible to significantly alter global climate through cuts in human greenhouse gas emission. "
  • "Attempts to cut emissions will slow development, the current UN approach of CO2 reduction is likely to increase human suffering from future climate change rather than to decrease it."

These Scientists go on to say:

  • “Recent observations of phenomena such as glacial retreats, sea-level rise and the migration of temperature-sensitive species are not evidence for abnormal climate change, for none of these changes has been shown to lie outside the bounds of known natural variability.”
  • “The average rate of warming of 0.1 to 0. 2 degrees Celsius per decade recorded by satellites during the late 20th century falls within known natural rates of warming and cooling over the last 10,000 years”
  • “Leading scientists, including some senior IPCC representatives, acknowledge that today's computer models cannot predict climate. Consistent with this, and despite computer projections of temperature rises, there has been no net global warming since 1998. That the current temperature plateau follows a late 20th century period of warming is consistent with the continuation today of natural multi-decadal or millennial climate cycling.”

So we clearly see that there is no consensus on the idea that man-made global warming is destroying the Earth. The debate is NOT over Mr. Gore.

Al Gore's hype is causing him to get rich at the publics expense. Shame on you Al Gore. His movie should've been called, "The Inconvenient Lie."

When you do a Google search for “Climate change,” one of the top results that always appears is the Wikipedia entry for this subject. Wikipedia is a free online encyclopedia that anyone can edit. Unfortunately, most of the people that sign up to edit this article are pro-global warming evangelists who exhibit a clear pro-global warming agenda. This means that everyone from school children to the media are getting this highly biased view of climate change, when they research this topic via a Google search. Fortunately, however, ANYONE can sign up on Wikipedia free of charge in less than one minute and edit this article. I would encourage everyone to sign up and contribute to this article, to ensure it presents the correct view of global warming. Simply go to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_change, click on the “Login/Create Account” tab in the right hand corner, and simply enter a username and password to immediately enable editing. Then you can help to provide the proper balance that is needed in this highly biased article.
