On Focus on the Family tonight, I heard this man's case.

William Kennedy has missed a lot of things over the past 14 years - graduations, weddings and even the birth of his grandchildren. That's because Kennedy is currently serving a 20 year sentence for an organized crime he didn't commit. Dr. James Dobson, along with a number of prominent Christian and political leaders, has worked hard to get Kennedy a pardon or a commutation, but to no avail. Dr. Dobson presents a 2001 interview during which Kennedy describes the poignant spiritual lessons he's learned while incarcerated. Dr. Dobson gives an update on Kennedy's case and tells what listeners can do to help get Kennedy released."I now hold dear the things I took for granted ... the opportunity to have dinner with my family, the [normal] things we just do everyday ... Now, because I miss those, when I have that day to be free ... they'll never be just an event; they'll be special to me." - William Kennedy
William Kennedy is the former owner of Western Monetary Consultants, a company that sold precious metals such as gold, silver and platinum. He is currently serving a 20 year sentence in a federal prison in Texas after being convicted of racketeering and mail fraud – crimes which he did not commit. He and his wife, Debbie, have three children and four grandchildren.

McCain's Liberal Record
For conservatives, the stakes could not be higher.
For on the great controversies, McCain has sided as often with the Democrats and the Big Media that pay him court as with conservatives.
Where President Bush has been bravest, on taxes and judges, McCain has been his nemesis. Not only did McCain vote against the Bush tax cuts twice, he colluded to sell out the most conservative of the Bush nominees to the courts.
In 1993, McCain voted to confirm ACLU liberal and pro-abortion Ruth Bader Ginsburg. But when Bush set out to restore constitutionalism, McCain colluded with Democrats who wanted to retain power to kill Bush's most conservative nominees.
McCain helped form the Gang of 14, including seven Democrats, who agreed to block a GOP Senate from using the "nuclear option" -- allowing a simple GOP majority to break a Democrat filibuster of judicial nominees -- unless the seven Democrats approved. McCain thus conspired with liberals to put at risk the most courageous conservatives nominees of President Bush.
With his record of voting for liberal justices Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer, and of colluding with Democrats in their campaign to kill the most conservative Bush nominees, what guarantee is there a President McCain will nominate and fight for the fifth jurist who would vote to overturn Roe v. Wade?
After America has run five straight record trade deficits that have denuded the nation of thousands of factories and 3 million manufacturing jobs, McCain is still babbling on about Smoot-Hawley.
"When you study history, every time we've adopted protectionism, we've paid a very heavy price," McCain told a Detroit paper after informing Michiganders their auto jobs are never coming back.
But what history is John McCain talking about?
Was the Tariff of 1816, which saved infant U.S. industries from the malicious dumping by British merchants after the War of 1812, a failure? Were Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, John Calhoun and Henry Clay fools to support President Madison's tariff?
From Abraham Lincoln through Calvin Coolidge, the Republican Party -- the Party of Protection -- put 12 presidents in the White House to two for the Democrats, and the United States became the mightiest industrial power in history, producing 42 percent of the world's manufactured goods.
This is failure -- while Bush free trade is a success? Tell it to Ohio.
Even Hillary Clinton, whose husband enacted NAFTA with McCain's support, has begun to question the NAFTA paradigm. Not McCain.
The three issues that ruined the Bush presidency are this misbegotten war in Iraq, the failure to secure America's borders from invasion and a mindless trade policy that has destroyed the dollar and left foreigners with $5 trillion to buy up America at fire-sale prices.
McCain remains an unthinking advocate of all three.
But where Bush was at his best, on taxes and judges, McCain was collaborating with Hillary. The question conservatives may face if McCain is nominated is not whom should I vote for, but should I vote.
Pat Buchanan makes these compelling arguments in http://www.conservativevoice.com/
I answer with a resounding AMEN.

Sean Hannity is LYING about Huckabee
Sean Hannity of Fox news has been telling all of his listeners that Gov Mike Huckabee has pulled out of Florida. This is a flat out lie. I was there to see Gov Huckabee today. He will be in South Florida tomorrow and has an extensive schedule in Miami on Friday. If you would like to send Sean Hannity a message send it to him by email at hannity@foxnews.com.
If enough of us contact him and tell him to retract this false story, he may get the message. He is obviously worried that either Giuliani or Romney will lose to Mike. Please be vigilant!!!
This was written by someone on Huckabee's website. He is right. On Hannity's radio show on Wed. night, I heard him say that Huckabee has "pulled out" of Florida. That is a LIE. I called Huckabee's campaign and they confirmed that he is in Florida aggressively campaigning.
This is what Gov. Huckabee is up against. Even so-called conservatives like Sean Hannity are touting lies about him. Hannity is a big RUDY fan. Let me see, Rudy is Pro-Abortion, Pro-Gay marriage, Anti-Gun. Hmmmm, seems conservative to me. NOT.
I can't wait to cast my Huckabee vote now. Don't give up hope on Huckabee.

Keep Supporting Huckabee
That's right. This blog is a call for all to keep supporting Mike Huckabee for President.
In case anyone wasn't watching, Free-trader John McCain won S. Carolina 33% to Huckabee's 30%. Thompson sucked away 16% with Romney in 4th place at 15%. Clearly, Thompson took away many of the probable Huckabee votes. I hope Thompson is fininshed and gets out before Florida. If he does, Huckabee has a good chance of winning Florida.
I was discouraged to see that even though Huckabee won the Evangelical vote in S.C. it wasn't as big a margin as expected.
Shame on you South Carolina Evangelicals.
Do you really believe McCain cares about issues like Abortion, Religious Freedom, and Traditional Marriage? In fact, McCain is PRO EMBRYONIC STEM CELL research. How is that socially conservative?? McCain is also a big time proponent of Global Warming-another issue he is wrong on. Not to mention McCain's huge support for outsourcing jobs to China and Free Trade. I now can't decide who I dislike more, Romney or McCain. Lately, Romney has sounded more populist in his speeches about the economy. Today Romney said that he would drop the lowest tax bracket down from 10% to 7.5%. I hope he means it.
All McCain can say is "we need to stop pork-barrel spending..we need to stop pork-barrel spending...we need to stop pork-barrel spending." Yawn. Is that all McCain can say about this economy? No fresh ideas what so ever from McCain.
I hope Florida Evangelicals and those who care about the little guy and middle class will come out strong for Huckabee, since S. Carolina voters got fooled by McCain.

South Carolina-Beat back the NEO-CONS on Saturday
People of South Carolina: Do not Vote for McCain. He is a Neo-Con(near conservative). He is a big time free trader. He scoffed about the textile jobs in S. Carolina never coming back. He gleefully likes outsourcing. He is arrogant. He believes it is his turn to be President. That is not how it works Mr. McCain.
Everybody can tell Thompson doesn't really want to be President
And Mitt Willard Romney is a Big Corporate Liberal
Yes, many neo-cons are against Hukabee. This is true. But a Neo-con is NOT what Mike
is. He is a tried and true conservative. But he also cares about the little guy. He cares about the guy losing his pension while the CEO gets out with the golden egg and millions of $$. The Republican establishment has become a bunch of country club rich guys who don’t really care about outsourced jobs (in fact they secretly support outsourcing), and our trade deficit (which is killing us). The Republican establishment tries to playcate social conservatives because deep down they really don’t care about abortion or traditional marriage. Hukabee is a true social AND fiscal compassionate conservative. He is a Teddy Roosevelt conservative. The Republican establishment is a Bloomberg “rich guy only” party now. It is too small of a party to beat the Democrats. It needs social conservatives. Social conservatives are the backbone of the Republican party, but the establishment rich guys want to shut us up. Sorry, WE (social conservatives) are the MAJORITY of the Republican party now. As far as I’m concernerd, let Bloomberg run a third party. This will split Democrats and the social conservatives will win the White House.
Go Mike Hukabee!

What could happen to Parents IF Hillary gets elected President
Government officials determined to stamp out "parallel societies" have in the past ordered police to take children from their homes to school and have placed a teenager involuntarily in psychiatric care for being homeschooled. Now they are fining a German husband and wife $6,300 for refusing to require their children to attend public schools.
The "now infamous" court case "Konrad v. Germany" in which the European Court of Human Rights essentially said that parental rights to raise their children must take second place to the government's objections to homeschooling, "has clearly demonstrated that German homeschoolers have no hope of relief from their courts,"
This is happening right now in Germany.
According to Hillary, "It takes a village to raise a child". Let me translate this for you.
YOU PARENTS CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT US ELITIST HARVARD TRAINED PROFESSIONALS.
IF Hillary has her way, Parents would NOT be allowed to Homeschool their kids since remember, "It takes a village (i.e. NOT just Parents) to raise a child".
She wants (along with Edwards) universal pre-school. Translated, that means YOU Parents need to place your kids in our government controlled schools (starting at age 4) so we can "educate" them on the "wonderfulness" of "alternate lifestyles.
Understand this clear point, Hillary thinks you the Parents are too DUMB to raise your kids alone without the help of Government.
Check this out too:
SWAT Raids Home Over Parent’s Healthcare Decision

clipped from wnd.com (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/)
The boy’s parents and siblings were thrown to the floor at gunpoint and the parents were handcuffed in the weekend assault, and the boy’s father told WND it was all because a paramedic was upset the family preferred to care for their son themselves.
Tom Shiflett, who has 10 children including six still at home, and served with paramedics in Vietnam, was monitoring his son’s condition himself.
The accident happened during horseplay, Tom Shiflett told WND.
There were no broken bones, no dilated eyes, or any other noticeable problems.
The family, whose members live by faith and homeschool, decided not to call an ambulance. But a neighbor did call Westcare Ambulance, and paramedics responded to the home, asking to see and evaluate the boy.
The paramedics were allowed to see the boy, and found no significant impairment, but wanted to take him to the hospital for an evaluation anyway. Fearing the hospital’s bills, the family refused to allow that.
These events will MULIPLY with Hillary at the helm.
DO NOT VOTE FOR HILLARY IF YOU VALUE YOUR PARENTAL FREEDOM!

Steps to create massive Jobs in the USA.
Step 1. Start a massive new Federal infrastructure project (similar to the one FDR did during the depression). This would create thousands of new jobs all over the USA.
Step 2. Give massive tax breaks and loosen regulations on all businesses here that manufacture products in the USA and don't outsource.
Step 3. Impose high tariffs on imports (especially imports from low wage countries like China, Mexico, India.
Step 4. Penalize with a high tax, companies that outsource jobs overseas.
Step 5. Reduce taxes on the middle class (that income below 125K/year).
Step 6. Freeze college tuition rates for 5 years, then only allow them to increase tuition by the rate of inflation. (this puts more money in parents/students pockets).
Step 7. Strongly encourage, though subsidies/tax credits the building of new coal, oil, wind, solar, ethanol, biodeisal, nuclear power in all 50 states. Plus loosen regulation so these businesses can begin building/drilling these energy plants asap.
The USA needs to be a warm and friendly place for businesses to manufacture new energy and new products. This will cause the increase of thousands of both government and private sector good paying jobs. This is something the Republicans should be touting all over the country. Its Jobs, Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. Its the Economy stupid.

Hukabee ahead in South Carolina
The latest real clear politics poll shows Hukabee ahead in South Carolina
Hukabee-- 26.5
McCain---22.8
Romney--16.8
Thompson-10.3
Giuliani---6.8
Paul------5.0
Real Clear Politics does an average of 4 polls. This one is dated from1/04/08-1/13/08.
Don't lose heart now. Vote for Hukabee
I heard a caller call into the Sandy Rios show and he said that he voted absentee today for Hukabee but was wondering if he "wasted" his vote. This kinda thinking bothers me. Its the Primaries. This is your only chance to really vote your conscience. You can vote for the person you REALLY like. When the general election comes, that's when you have to sometimes vote the lesser of 2 evils. For instance, I really liked Pat Buchanan, so I voted for him 3 times in the Primaries. Unfortunately, he never won the nomination, so I wasn't able to vote for him in the general election. I felt that I could not vote for him when he ran as the Reform party candidate in 2000 because I knew that the election between Bush and Gore was going to be razor thin. I did vote for Buchanan in the Primary though.
So don't feel as though you are "wasting" your vote.
Hukabee is the REAL conservative in this race. Plus he cares for the "little guy" too.
GO MIKE!

My Son became a Man today--I'm SO Proud of Him.
I mainly blog about political issues but on occasion I will put personal things on my blog. My son made me so proud today so I felt that I had to blog on this today.
At Church today, the Pastor asked anyone who had problems with Bronchial Asthma to come up to the Altar and be prayed for. The Pastor then asked anyone in the congregation to come up and lay hands on those who had come up for prayer for their Asthma. My son (who is only 8 years old) without any prompting by me or any adult, went up and layed hands on and prayed for a gentleman who had come up to the Altar. I am an usher at the back of the church, so I didn't see any of this (I was told later after church by many impressed adults who saw my son do this). Calvin (my son) is so kind and caring for other people. Every day he ceases to amaze me. I was brought to tears when told what he did. I immediately went up to Calvin, gave him a big hug and told him how proud I was of him.
Here we have politicians too scared to stand up for the right and moral thing to do, but yet an 8 year old boy is 100 times more brave and does the right thing.
By the way, did I mention that this 8 year old boy is MY SON.

I guess I need to Blog on NAFTA again.
I feel that I need to blog on NAFTA once again, as confusion and ignorance still exist.
NAFTA is a free trade and investment agreement that provided investors with a unique set of guarantees designed
to stimulate foreign direct investment and the movement of factories within the hemisphere, especially from the United
States to Canada and Mexico. Furthermore, no protections were contained in the core of the agreement to maintain
labor or environmental standards. As a result, NAFTA tilted the economic playing field in favor of investors, and against
workers and the environment, resulting in a hemispheric “race to the bottom” in wages and environmental quality in the
United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Most Americans are aware of the economic devastation that the "free-trade" pacts are doing to our country. Disloyal corporate heads are displacing hundreds of thousand American workers and replacing them with imported cheap foreign labor or exporting their good paying jobs to countries with pools of near-slave labor. Most of these Americans are then relegated to sub par jobs with their families in desperate straits. Some are even left homeless, living in their cars.
Many of America's brightest young people are bypassing college (men in particular) because of the massive number of high tech and science jobs being sent overseas or filled here with cheap foreign graduates. It is heartbreaking to think of what could have been for many Americans if not for the evaporating opportunities brought about by globalization.
The formally great United States is being deindustrialized by globalization. Since 1978, 14,449 US companies have been sold to foreign buyers for a total acquisition amount of $1,777,738,035,222. These American industries couldn't compete with the cheap goods protected by "free-trade" that were flooding US markets, and as a result they failed and were bought up by the foreign firms with their profits from their US sales. How many products stamped "made in America" have you seen lately in the stores? Ramifications include our cities being eroded by the mass exodus of their industrial base and our dependence on the rest of the world for our many needed goods, which has national security implications.
Growing trade deficits with Mexico and Canada after NAFTA took effect reduced employment in high-wage, traded-goods
industries, resulting in a substantial loss of wage income for such workers. This contributed to growing inequality
in wages and falling demand for workers without a post-secondary education, males in trade-related production, and
minorities. NAFTA has also hurt workers in Mexico too as evidenced by the increase in illegal immigrants trying to come to the USA since NAFTA was passed. Without major changes in NAFTA to address unequal levels of development and enforcement of labor
rights and environmental standards, continued integration of North American markets will threaten the prosperity of a
growing share of workers in the United States and throughout the hemisphere. Negotiation of additional NAFTA-style
agreements, such as the proposed Korean, Malaysian, and Thai Free Trade Agreements, will only worsen these problems.
China is a special case in point. Its unchecked flooding of our markets with cheaply made goods has created 26% of the US $725.8 billion trade deficit. The Economic Policy Institute reported that, between 1997 and 2006, the massive US/China trade imbalance took 2,166,000 US jobs, the bulk of which (1.8 million) were lost after China joined the WTO in 2001. Proponents of this affiliation wrongly claimed that China's trade surplus would decline and US employment would bounce back.
China subsequently bought up vast quantities of US government securities with the dollar profits from their trade imbalance. As a result, they have attained the ability to blackmail the US. A quick sell-off of these government securities would send interest rates spiraling up, possibly crash the dollar and spark a recession.
People wake up. We are continuing to lose our Sovereignty because of "free trade".
Conservatives for many years were Protectionists. Now its the Democratic party calling for Protectionism. If the Republicans don't wake up soon the Democrats will win in November based largely on their being for the average worker, and being for Nationalism instead of Globalism. I don't think the Republicans will win if they are tied to Free Trade and Globalism.
Conservatives and Republicans need to be the ones For Nationalism and Protectionism and the absolute loudest on the injustices of Outsourcing.

Otherwise it may be 8 long years of Hillary or Obama and that means more moral and social decay.

UNIONS ENDORSE HUKABEE
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers on Thursday endorsed Mike Hukabee. That's right, they endorsed a Republican. They also endorsed Clinton too; a dual endorsement. Also, the 170,000-member International Painters Union endorsed Huckabee. This is the first time the union has endorsed a GOP candidate in more than 100 years.
This shows me that the only Republican that can bring back the Reagan democrats is Mike Hukabee. These unions know that the other Republicans care only about the rich, and corporations. Hukabee has continued his economic populist message despite those conservative talk show hosts criticizing and making fun of him (i.e. Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Hewitt, Ingram). To that I say, GO MIKE! In my opinion, he needs to hit that message even louder.
The economic populist message is a winning message. Working class people have seen their wages stagnant, while their gas bill and college bills have skyrocketed. The unemployment rate in Michigan is 7.5%. Its the ECONOMY STUPID.
Last night in the debate, Fred Thompson couldn't stop bashing Hukabee every step of the way. He pretty much called him a Liberal Democrat. This is Thompson's last ditch effort to save his campaign. He is a johnny come lately to the table and now that his campaign is dying, he is trying to revive it with a "last stance" in South Carolina. He obviously feels that his biggest competition is Hukabee. There also have been some 527 ads running in S. Carolina too bashing Hukabee on his pardons. Probably funded by Thompson. I actually like the fact that Hukabee pardoned 1000 people. It shows that he is compassionate and can forgive. Many conservatives don't know how to forgive. Jesus commands us to forgive as we have been forgiven. Obviously Hukabee (or anyone else for that matter) cannot for tell what these people whom he pardoned will do in the future. I'm sure that he looked extensively at all the reasons for the pardons and made the decision to pardon based on overwhelming evidence.
Also in the debate, I have to give props to Romney for having the best answer to the Economy question. He said that he would fight for every job and would not concede any job from leaving the country. McCain the idiot free trader sneered at this and gave an ambivalent and non-caring attitude towards those outsourced jobs by saying, "Be realistic, those jobs are never coming back". That kind of attitude is exactly what we don't need. Romney seems willing to "fight" for those American manufacturing jobs. I believe Hukabee is too. Although Romney had a better answer in the debate. I know that I have criticized Romney in my past blogs, but if he were the nominee, I would hold my nose and vote for him in November.
However, it is not November now.
Now is the time we should be backing Hukabee. He is the most socially conservative candidate running. He is not just giving lip service to the Pro-Life, Pro-Traditional marriage, Pro-Gun rights issues. Most importantly, if he were President, he would nominate Supreme Court justices like Scalia and Thomas.
VOTE FOR HUKABEE.

CHRISTIANS DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT VOTING FOR OBAMA
That's right. If you call yourself a Christian, then don't even think about voting for Obama.
He is Pro-Abortion, Pro-same sex marriage. He has repeatedly voted against school choice, prayer and Bible reading in public schools. He supports Judges that continually rip away our religious freedoms.
When Barack Hussein Obama was born he was given a Muslim name, identical to that of his father and grandfather. His mother married two (2) Muslims, Barry's father and a second Muslim who brought her and Barry to Indonesia. In Indonesia, Obama's parents identified him as a Muslim, and he studied Islam. All of these are facts on which no one disagrees and everyone agrees. So why the media frenzy to cover-up Obama's Muslim heritage?
Obama had indeed casually mentioned his Muslim contacts, but he has carefully avoided any details.
The webzine Insight referred to Obama's Jakarta school as a "madrassa." What is known is that Obama's stepfather was a Muslim, and that he removed the child from a Catholic school and placed him in an institution where Islam was part of the curriculum.
The mainstream media has been trying to tamp down any coverage of Obama's religion. They will not succeed.
Fact: Here is a photo of Barack Hussein Obama REFUSING to put his hand over his heart during the singing of the national anthem.
His church that he attends is called Trinity Church of Christ. Take a look at its website:
www.tucc.org/about.htm
Where is the Salvation message about Jesus??
Answer: Nowhere to be found.
His pastor makes black separatist statements. Whites need not apply for membership. Is this Christian??
His Church states that it has a has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa. No where is AMERICA even mentioned. And Obama wants to be President of America.
This man Obama may be a good President of an African nation, but NOT America.

Obama is MORE Experienced than Clinton
On this big New Hampshire victory for Hillary Clinton, she keeps touting herself as the "More Experienced" candidate. She says that she has 35yrs. experience. At the same time she subtly belittles Obama by saying that he is "not ready', and "this isn't just a game", tsk tsk just learn from me".
But here are the facts Hillary: OBAMA HAS MORE EXPERIENCE THAN CLINTON!
That's right, MORE experience. Obama needs to inform voters of this fact.
He has been a US senator for 4 yrs. compared to her 7yrs., BUT she held NO publicly elected office before this. On the other hand, Obama was a State senator for 8yrs, and ran for congress too. Obama needs to INFORM voters of that fact. Don't let Clinton get away with that distortion.
I cannot hide it. I dislike Hillary more than any other candidate out there.
On the Republican side, McCain wins, Romney comes in 2nd and Hukabee 3rd.
I hope that Hukabee will win South Carolina and Michigan too.
Romney is not going away.
Giuliani announced that tonight is the kickoff. Huh?? Giuliani has been M.I.A. since this election started. He is the most Liberal of all the Republicans, so I hope he fades away in the sunset.
In the past, I had told my father and friends that I would not support Romney if he were to get the nomination. But if Clinton gets the Democratic nomination, then I would have to hold my nose and vote for Romney, even though I think he is phony (the thing is Hillary is even phonier).
But until then, I am still going to vote for Hukabee come Feb. 5.

Saturday's New Hampshire Debate
I watched both the Republican and Democrat debate on Saturday night from New Hampshire.
Here is what I took away from it:
Hillary Clinton looks arrogant and mean. She kept repeating that she has "35 years experience trying to bring about change". 35 years, what the heck is she talking about. As far as I can see, she has no more experience than Obama or Edwards. She has been in the Senate for 7 years and before that, what publicly elected office did she hold??? Nothing else. Obama has been a senator for 4 years, but before this was an Illinois state senator for 8yrs. He actually has MORE experience in public office than her. Where is she getting this 35 year baloney from??
Edwards was a US senator for 6yrs., only 1 year less than Hillary. I wanted to yell at the TV,
HILLARY, WHAT 35 YEARS???
Edwards looked good and seemed to differentiate himself as the only one who would "Fight" against corporate greed and special interests. Saying that his fight came from deep within his heart, where Obama and Clinton "say" that they will fight corporate greed and special interests, BUT when opposition comes, since the fight is not deep within their heart, they will cave and do the "political thing" over the right thing.
Richardson seems to have his head stuck in the global warming cloud. He called Al Gore a "very smart man". No Richardson, Al Gore is a Scammer and trying to scare everyone with this global warming baloney. At 2% Richardson should drop out. It is too bad Kucinich was locked out of the debate.
On the Republican side, McCain and Romney got it on. Romney looked visibly irritated with McCain. The candidates had about a 30min. debate about what defines amnesty and what doesn't define amnesty. Hukabee did not join in on the mudslinging. Thompson, once again, looked like he really didn't want to be there. Ron Paul did a good job. But it looks as though Paul will only get about 10% in every State, unless people vote for who they Really like, not the "Pragmatic vote".
Duncan Hunter was locked out of the debate also. This is too bad. I like to hear ALL the candidates.
Giuliani looked OK, but his liberal social views will cost him (and rightly so) the Republican nomination, in my view.
I keep hearing many different people piling on Hukabee now, from Limbaugh to even Hannity.
This is because Limbaugh and Hannity are big time Corporate, country club Republicans who don't really care all that much about social issues and can't admit that Hukabee's populist message of being for the little guy and against corporate greed is working and connecting with lower to middle class conservative voters (I personally know a few social conservative Democrats that like Hukabee and are voting for him). The Republican party has been shrinking and it is because middle class people see the Enrons and many other corporations that forgo their pension obligations while the CEO rides off in the sunset with a HUGE compensation package, and they say "this is not right". This corporate greed and callous attitude towards its average workers is a chord that started with Pat Buchanan and is growing now within the Republican party. Friday night on Hannity on the radio, Hannity had Dick Morris explaining this very thing, and Hannity dismissed this. But Morris is RIGHT. The Republicans will not win in November with just the country club wing. It needs lower and middle class voters who tend to vote Democrat but are socially conservative (i.e. Pro-Life and Pro-traditional marriage). Hukabee (and Hunter and Paul) are going after these voters.
Next up, New Hampshire on Tuesday.

Hukabee Wins, Establishment Loses
Hukabee wins Iowa! This is great news. All the "Establishment Rich-Guy" republicans are scratching their heads wondering how it happened. It happened because of you the ordinary, middle class, social conservative voter who did not let the greedy, fat-cat wing of the party squash you. You know what I'm talking about. The Wall Street, wealthy republicans who act like they care about Life and Traditional Marriage, but really only care about getting richer than they already are. Enough is enough! Social conservatives who really care about the unborn are not going to sit by and let the Giuliani's and Romney's win. We know that if that happens then we (social conservatives) will have no plate at the table and will continue to be taken for granted.
I am tired of "so-called" conservatives, "neo-conservatives" giving lip service on the Pro-Life and Traditional Marriage issues, while then turning around and doing nothing.
Also, the populist message hit home too. Middle class people are tired of having factory after factory close up and go to China, while the CEO gets a Fat Bonus$$.
Middle class people are tired of not being able to afford health insurance or not being able to afford college as tuition skyrockets out of control.
I thought that John Edwards gave a good speech tonight, however I can't and won't vote for anybody that is Pro-Abortion and Anti-traditional Marriage. Same thing for Obama.
One of the reasons that I like Hukabee is because he speaks to the blue-collar, middle class conservative that is Pro-Life, Pro-Traditional Marriage, Pro-Gun, but also Pro-middle class, and he (Hukabee) is not in the back pocket of Wall Street (as Romney, Giuliani and McCain are).
This is what I consider a Conservative Populist message. It is a winning message.
Go Mike, Continue to baffle the Establishment.

Happy New Year to All
Happy New Year to all. I pray that this year will be more blessed, more prosperous, and less stressful than 2007.
Now for the latest political updates:
I was watching Hannity and Combs tonight and Frank Luntz, a noted republican pollster had said that he was at both a Romney and Hukabee rally today, and that Hukabee's rally drew thousands more than Romney's. To that I screamed YES!
Hannity and Combs also interviewed Hukabee as well. It seemed to both me and my dad that Hannity does not like Hukabee much. It is clear that Hannity is either a Giuliani or Romney supporter.
What I like about Hukabee is that he seems to connect with the average lunch bucket Joe. Romney is this rich guy, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, whereas Hukabee was born poor and had to work hard to get where he is. This is important in the fact that Hukabee can "identify" with the poor and working class people, and Romney just can't. Liken it to God coming down from Heaven and becoming a man, purposely choosing to not exercise his Godly attributes while down here on Earth, in order that He could "identify" with us. I am by no means comparing Hukabee to God, but just showing how that being able to "identify" with what working class people go through on a daily basis (struggling to put food on the table, send their kids to college, provide shelter for themselves and family) makes him more credible on the claim of all the candidates to "help the middle class".
The spin continues to be from the "Republican establishment" that Hukabee has NO chance of winning and therefore we aren't even going to consider him as a viable candidate in the general election. To this I of course say NONSENSE and am eagerly waiting for the primary to come to Illinois so that I can prove the "Establishment" wrong.
